Refund policy

You may request a refund of unused credits within 14 days of the purchase that created them. We refund the unused portion at the price you paid for it, minus usage already metered against that purchase.

Worked example: you buy a pack for $15 that grants 100 credits, then spend 20 credits. The unused 80 credits are 80% of the pack, so the refund is 80% of $15 — that is $12.

Credits do not expire, so there is no pressure to spend them inside the window. After 14 days credits remain usable indefinitely but are no longer refundable.

A token pack is a different product from a credit top-up, and the difference is deliberate: it is priced lower per token because it carries a short validity window. Each pack states that window on the pricing page and on your billing page, and the clock starts when your payment confirms — not when you first use it.

At expiry, a stated share of whatever is left over converts into permanent credits, which then behave like any other credits on your balance. The exact percentage is shown on the pack before you buy and recorded against the purchase afterwards. The remainder is forfeited.

An unexpired token pack is refundable on the same 14-day terms as credits, less usage already metered. Once a pack has expired it is not refundable — the credits it rolled over are yours, and the forfeited part is gone. If a pack becomes unusable for a reason on our side, that is not an expiry and we will make it right; contact support.

Email support@fuelofai.com from the address on the account, with the transaction reference from your billing history. We aim to confirm within two business days.

Approved refunds are returned by the same method you paid with. Where payment was made in cryptocurrency we refund the equivalent amount in the same asset to an address you nominate; because exchange rates move, the fiat value you receive may differ from the fiat value you paid, and network fees are deducted. We cannot reverse a crypto payment to a wallet you no longer control.

The refunded credits are removed from your balance at the point the refund is issued, and the adjustment appears in your transaction history.

• Credits already spent. Tokens delivered are tokens we paid an upstream provider for. If a request failed and you were still charged, that is a billing error, not a refund request — tell us and we will correct it.
• Free trial allowances. The 10-request trial has no cash value.
• Volume bonus credits. Bonus credits granted on top of a pack are refunded at zero value, since you did not pay for them.
• Purchases outside the 14-day window, except where local consumer law gives you a longer right.
• Accounts terminated for fraud or for abuse of the service, including trial farming and chargeback fraud.

Model output that you find unhelpful, inaccurate or unsuitable is not a ground for refund of the tokens it consumed. The model vendor determines output quality; we route and meter the request. Try the free playground before you buy.

If we billed you for something that did not happen — a failed request, a duplicated charge, a settlement that did not match delivered tokens — we correct it in credits as soon as we confirm it, and that correction is not limited to the 14-day window. Send us the x-fuelofai-request-id from the response and we can trace the exact call.

We do not offer service credits for downtime, because we do not offer an uptime service level agreement. Measured availability is published on our status page.

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live. If local law gives you a stronger right of withdrawal than the 14-day window above, that right applies. Note that consuming credits is the supply of a digital service, which in some jurisdictions reduces a statutory cooling-off right for the portion already used.
